Covering six municipalities in Nueva Ecija and Bulacan, the 3,500-hectare Terra Solar Project is set to become the world’s largest hybrid solar facility.
This ambitious initiative addresses the nation’s growing power demand, offering a capacity of 3,500 MWp from its solar PV plant, complemented by a 4,500 MWhr battery energy storage system. It will connect to the grid via a 13 km, 500kV transmission line.
The project spans lands in the municipalities of Peñaranda, General Tinio, and Gapan City in Nueva Ecija, as well as San Miguel in Bulacan.
Development will be developed in two phases:
- Phase 1: 2,500MWp + 3,300 MWHr BESS over approximately 2,500 hectares
- Phase 2: +1,000MWp + 1,200 MWhr BESS over about 1,000 hectares.
The task of rehabilitating Baguio is daunting given the political, social, cultural and environmental impact. We believe that it is best to start with a clean canvass.
